When paint is not mixed out of approved containers inside the confines of an approved spray booth, a paint mixing room is then required to perform all paint mixing operations in compliance with NFPA 30 for most authorities having jurisdiction or the (AHJ). Mixing rooms can be remote or can be designed to have direct interconnection with an enclosed spray booth where desired. Mixing rooms must also have approved fire suppression system as well as mechanical ventilation and chemical spill containment. When paint is mixed out of approved containers inside the confines of a spray booth, approved paint storage cabinets with chemical spill containment are also usually required to comply with the AHJ.Type your paragraph here.
